The Case Study of J. M. Schilling of "Dallas, Texas USA" - Thyroid Cancer Survivor and, as a consequence, Sufferer of Vocal Cord Paralysis.

Once again, reader’s discretion is advised. Also, due to the personal and intimate nature of the story, some names have been withheld.      At the beginning of the year 2016, we got an email and then (when we asked her) a call from a woman who was residing near Dallas, Texas and who had undergone a few surgeries on her thyroid (due to cancer diagnosis). And as a consequence, Ms. Schilling ended up not only with a paralyzed vocal cord but also with a hole in her throat due to a very "brutal" tracheotomy. Due to that, Ms. Schilling had a very hard time swallowing foods; and a lot of the times, she could not keep her food down and, apparently, had been expelling it quite often. Due to all of that, needless to say, J.M. was quite underweight and, obviously, did not possess a lot of energy. To boost the latter, we suggested to Ms. Schilling to order the specific natural herbal remedies with specific instructions just for her. Since she had difficulties swallowing, all of ...

Throat Cancer Case Study; Medical Treatments Left The Patient With Hardly Any Voice!

Image
This case is about Michael F from the United Kingdom: He suffered from paralyzed vocal cords due to throat cancer. ____________   Michael was diagnosed with throat cancer and, due to that, he had undergone numerous sessions of chemotherapy and well as radiation treatments. In the end, he ended up with one vocal cord fully paralyzed and the other one completely damaged (fully non-functional). His speaking voice was totally unclear and had a very high soprano tone. Obviously, the condition of his vocal cords was beyond repair; however, by employing the Vocal Science™ technique, his voice got rechannelled to a different set of muscles (facial cavities) which allowed him to speak much louder and much clearer. His voice also acquired some bass on the bottom, which was supporting the actual lift off of his vocal box and off of his vocal cords. Clearly, there was a huge improvement, as Michael was taught to employ his facial muscles (natural amplifier/resonato...

They said that “You will never have your voice back to normal ever again.” We said… “TRY US!”

With the Vocal Science™ method and its own very unique vocal technique, we have proven quite a few medical professionals wrong! - Case Study #1: Tim Bristol of Niagara Falls, New York - The above-named non-surgical voice repair client of ours was given a “sentence” of “the point of no return”. The ENT professionals were stating that many of our clients (formally theirs) would never recover their speaking and/or singing voices ever again… With the above in mind… let’s profile a throat cancer survivor named Tim Bristol. Some time ago, he came to us seeking a viable solution for his very serious voice problem, after surviving throat cancer. Tim has been a musician, singer/songwriter (at the time) for over 45 years of his life. From his words, his whole life had mainly revolved around music. Also, from his words, while performing on many stages, which he was playing from, he saw nothing but “blue light”. So, needless to say, the constant second-hand smoke was inhaled by Tim, night ...

Is there a Non-Surgical Treatment For Strained Vocal Cords.... Can the symptoms be like Hoarse & Raspy Voice, a Partial or Even Full Voice Loss, or God forbid, a Cancer of the Throat...?

Image
More and more people are inquiring about the treatment for their strained vocal cords without the need for surgery or any other invasive procedures, for that matter. When they call to inquire about the above, I can actually hear that their voice is definitely damaged, partially lost, and therefore, even possibly due to something more serious... However, somebody called me in the not-so-distant past. This person was speaking with me in a quiet and whispered voice. They revealed to me that the ENT Doctor had diagnosed them with strained vocal cords. Firstly, I had to ask that person if they were male or female, as for the lack of a normal voice, it was undetectable. The sufferer disclosed to me that she was a female of 64 years of age. While I was talking to her, I right away suspected that her voice problem was by far more serious than just strained vocal cords.  I told her (since she practically had no sound) that I would have no prediction on whether or not I could actually re...

Untreatable Voice Diseases Should you give up and learn how to live with this disorder?

Indeed, should you give up or rather do something which will (at least) improve the quality of your life? What are those untretable, nasty voice disorders ? It definitely is vocal paralysis (paresis) or both vocal cords, the severe forms of spasmodic dysphonia , the severe forms of muscle tension dysphonia , scar tissue on the vocal cords , damaged vocal box and it’s anatomy due to/or during the surgical procedure and many more others . Once, not too long ago, in my office/studio walked in a middle-aged, pretty handsome Asian man with his wife. It was very sad to try to speak with the man, as there was nothing else coming out of his mouth but mooing. I could not understand one word he was trying to say. Then his wife took over the “conversation”. She told us a story that her husband had a cancer of thyroid. Then the doctors first were trying to get rid of the cancer, they conducted a surgical procedure , which had paralyzed one of his vocal cords ( vocal p...
