If the student is not a novice and has a strong personality, the private approach is the right way to start the voice/vocal development. If, on the other hand, we are talking about a complete beginner who has never taken any speech or singing lessons, let alone any other instructional sessions in his life, the group approach to start with for somebody like that would be the right answer.
Not only the above-described person will greatly benefit out of it, but will learn a lot to become prepared for the private, more intense sessions. I usually do not take more then 6 to (absolute maximum) 7 people in a group, to be able to provide the semi-private instruction within the group setting.
Due to that fact, the participants are not always put on the spot and have time to relax and to observe what others have been doing right or wrong. In Russia, we use to have a saying:
“Not too very smart people are learning from their own mistakes, but the smarter ones are learning from the mistakes of others.”
I think that the above is a very profound and the vocal interactive workshop allows the participants to learn from others and adapt the positive outcome for themselves. I personally conduct those workshops and find them very educational and fun to run.
Needless to say, after the participants experience the, so to speak, preview to the Vocal Science Method, at least 2 new individual private clients will be derived from this event. And let me tell you, to start the individual singing or speech lessons, or even the voice repair sessions, after they have participated in the workshop, is literally a “piece of cake”. I personally think that any workshops on any subject should be highly beneficial to give a jumpstart to anybody who is not sure, doubting or even skeptical to start something more substantial, and nevertheless, to pay a larger sum of money for it.
So I highly recommend to “test the waters” first before you jump into something which you are not 100% convinced about, or not sure if you want to fully embark on.

Hi Everyone, Some of you are already familiar with the name of Aubrie Morris of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, USA who originally came to us in November 2019. She came to us with the diagnosis of Muscle Tension Dysphonia (MTD). Please read the beginning of Aubrie’s story by clicking the link below: https://www.vocalscience.com/aubrie-m-muscle-tension-dysphonia-survivor Her voice repair course and natural herbal treatment was supposed to be administered for 6 consecutive days in order for Aubrie to receive 30 hours of our revolutionary voice/vocal instruction by advocating by us our very own Vocal Science™ method. Unfortunately, we were unable to finish that course as Aubrie caught a cold and thus we were forced to cut our course short (24/26 hours). However, with the above said, her Muscle Tension Dysphonia disorder was almost gone by the time she left Canada. But, due to the pandemic, she was not able to see me until just recently. Due to that fact, waiting for almost a year and a h
Medical Doctors and Speech Therapists had, Once Again, Failed the Patient with the Sulcus Vocalis Diagnosis!
How so; you, my reader, may ask? Our answer is; what else is new…? This story is about our former non-surgical voice repair client, Issac H – a Jewish community leader from Brooklyn, New York. Once medical doctors had diagnosed Issac with such a disorder as Sulcus Vocalis ( a gap between the vocal cords), they strongly suggested to Issac to undergo a vocal operation. On that note, Issac visited numerous speech therapists and speech pathologists… Needless to say, he did not receive any meaningful help. Being only 36 years old at the time, he nearly lost his hope to be able to speak – using his normal voice again. When he contacted us, he became very emotional and claimed that he was looking for somebody like us for quite a few years now. He mentioned that he is a very significant person in the Jewish community and jokingly said: “You know, Diana, we Jewish people are a very loud nation…” Listening to his story, we, with absolute certainty, said that our claim to fame (so to spe
