Acid Reflux - How Does it Affect One's Voice and What Are the Consequences of That Voice/Vocal and, Nevertheless, Health Disorder(s)?

Nearly every other person that comes to our enterprise for a Non-Surgical Voice Repair accelerated voice/vocal immersion course, states that they were diagnosed with Acid Reflux, and about 99% of the time that diagnosis is mistaken to be the cause of voice/vocal problems rather than the effect of the improper application of the voice causing the voice problem/vocal disorders in the first place.

It seems that "Acid Reflux" is now a general catch-all label used by doctors, speech therapists and speech pathologists for patients who they are not able to help or don’t know how to help... (which seems to be most of the time).

Those medical professionals are usually prescribing drugs, which are actually available over the counter such as Nexium, Zantac, etc. In any case, those drugs almost never produce any tangible results and the person still complains even more about a dry and itchy throat, hoarseness and an inability to speak or let alone sing clearly.

In reality, the problem is still the same – all of these people are utilizing an incorrect application of their voices, while speaking and/or singing, and thus, all of their symptoms are caused specifically by this occurrence.
The fact is, that the person with any voice/vocal disorder, will, by osmosis, acquire acid reflux due to the voice being drawn in the lower throat position, where it easily meets the gastric acid.
So in my opinion, no special diagnosis for that particular voice disorder is required as it comes with the territory.

Once the voice has been lifted off of one's vocal cords and also off of their vocal box in general (via specially developed speech and singing exercises), on this premise, the sound of their voice became separated from their vocal anatomy while being restructured to a different set of muscles (facial muscles).
The person of interest's voice had gotten freely flown above and on top of their physical bodies - utilizing its parameters...
In fact, their abdominal muscles are getting to be employed as well, as they begin to work in full conjunction and coordination with the aforementioned facial muscles, supporting the lift and thus, the landing of the actual sound of the voice in the proper vocal cavities.
The above-described actions (using the voice correctly) help to preserve the health of one's voice for a lifetime.

Nonetheless, one's voice is still affected by anything that is going on with their physical body, but, by far, not as severe as it would be had they not received any proper voice/vocal instruction coupled with natural herbal and some homeopathic treatments. Needless to say, the latter is very instrumental for healing one's vocal anatomy and, nevertheless, also their overall health.
